CHARLES H. ROTHENBERGER

Charles has been Project Manager with STB Landscape Architects, Inc. since 2003, and has been a licensed Landscape Architect in California since 1998. Charles has more
than 19 years of experience that includes academic, landscape construction and design.

Before coming to STB Landscape Architects, Inc. Charles worked for Thatcher Engineering, and Richard Pope and Associates. At Thatcher Engineering Charles was
the in-house Landscape Architect and worked closely with the engineering staff to gain deeper insight and knowledge into melding engineering and landscape issues to create a more cohesive, workable and aesthetic design. While working with Richard Pope and Associates Charles was attending Cal Poly Pomona to gain his degree in Landscape Architecture, which he received in 1994. With Richard, Charles had the opportunity to work on a variety of Public Works projects that dealt with the urban environment as
well commercial and residential projects.

As Project Manager for STB Landscape Architects, Inc., Charles is responsible for project coordination within STB Landscape Architects, Inc. as well as the various entities that drive the projects, from Contractors, to Architects and Engineers to the owners. Under STB Landscape Architects, Inc. Charles' experience has greatly expanded beyond commercial and residential projects to include large scale Planned Residential Communities, multi-use projects and major CalTrans Highway projects as well. In addition to his technical and design qualifications Charles pocesses considerable talent in color rendering and visualization that is important in conveying a projects ultimate impact to the surrounding environment.

In his off hours Charles enjoys hiking in the local mountains as well as biking and swimming. He especially enjoys skiing during the winter months and camping in the
High Sierra's.
